Customer Promise and Key Objectives

Worthing Leisure Centre, Aquarena Swimming Pool, Davison Leisure Centre and Field Place Sports and Arts Complex are owned and managed by Worthing Borough Council.  At these facilities we aim to:

• Provide high quality, cost effective services.

 Cleanliness

We promise to ensure that all areas have a specific cleaning and inspection schedule.  If you are unhappy with the standard of cleanliness, please let the Duty Manager know immediately.

Health and Safety

Our staff will be alert and observant at all times and we will meet the necessary staffing requirements under the current Health & Safety guidelines.  We aim to inspect and test all equipment for use by customers, and whenever possible will have defects corrected within 10 working days.  We promise to continually review the management of Health & Safety for the benefit of customers and staff.

Environmental Conditions

We will maintain pool water at the following temperatures:

• Aquarena Main Pool - 29oC
• Aquarena Teaching Pool - 30oC
• Worthing Leisure Centre Spa Pool - 32oC

We will chemically balance and regularly test our pool and spa water to ensure customer comfort and safety. 

All areas will be illuminated, heated and ventilated to ensure safety and good playing conditions.
