Adults - Coached one hour training sessions with the aim of improving stamina and stroke technique. Training aids and schedules may be incorporated. These sessions are suitable for strong swimmers and Tri-athletes but there is a lane available for those wanting to begin training on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 17.45; Friday 19.45.
Juniors - Coached one hour sessions to develop stamina and endurance in children who already have correct technique on breaststroke, backstroke and front crawl and are strong swimmers. Children will be swim tested before acceptance into the group. Tuesdays and Thursdays 16.30 - term time only.
Beginners - For non swimmers or beginners who cannot swim with their face in the water, or on their back. Wed 1pm; Sun 7pm.
Improvers - Must be able to swim one width of the teaching pool with their face in the water and one width on their back. Wed 1.30pm; Sun 7.30pm.
After a review of our swim school we are no longer holding a swimming lesson waiting list.
People currently on a swimming course should ensure that they re-book by 7pm on Sunday 3rd August in order to keep their place.
Customers on our Waiting List can book available spaces from 9am on Monday 4th August
Customers not on the waiting list can book available spaces from 9am on Monday 11th August.
Intensive swimming courses, consisting of 6 lessons every morning, Monday to Saturday, run each week during school holidays (not Christmas). Places can be booked by contacting reception.
